The Crawler Crane is a mobile crane that installs the lifting operation part on the crawler chassis and relies on the crawler device for walking. The varieties of wire ropes for crawler cranes include phosphating coated wire ropes, galvanized wire ropes and smooth wire ropes.
A crawler crane is a mobile boom crane equipped with a crawler running device. It consists of metal structures such as boom and turntable, as well as lifting, rotating, luffing and running mechanisms. The hoisting and luffing mechanism adopts the reel to wind the steel rope, and the lifting device and the boom pitch luffing are made through the complex pulley group. The rotating mechanism adopts a turntable type supporting device. The mechanism has two driving modes: ① Centralized driving. The power of the internal combustion engine is passed through the hydraulic coupling and the power distribution box, and then the clutches are manipulated to move each mechanism. ② Drive separately. The internal combustion engine-generator set is used to drive the mechanism through the motors and transmission parts to move the mechanism. Suitable for lifting and loading and unloading operations in industry and forestry.
